Colour and markings:
Crest, chestnut brown; neck and saddle hackle, reddish brown, becoming lighter toward bottom. Breast, belly, tail and thighs should be black with a greenish sheen. Back and shoulder covers, chestnut brown. Wing bars, shiny dark green. The outer barbs of the wings are brownish red, otherwise blackish.
The minimum weight of a cock destined for breeding at the age of six months should be at least 3.5 kilograms.

Body: full, ample, deep and broad square shape
Neck: medium-long and thickly feathered
Breast: broad, full and very deep, slightly convex
Shoulders: broad and well-rounded
Back: like the shoulders, very broad, fairly long and horizontally carried
Saddle: broad, full and full-feathered, without cushion
Tail: medium-long, full and broad, ascending from the back
